This is one of my favorite pictures of Rosie.
It was after midnight and I was trying to finish that quilt top. She was waiting for me to finish "whatever" so we could play. Or go to bed. Or for me to give her a treat. Probably all three.
I've always wondered what she was thinking when she'd look at me with such a serious, intent expression... "What on earth did you do to your hair today?" "Just because you have a voice, it doesn't mean you can sing..."
My favorite picture.
She loved water. She loved hoses. She loved playing with the water coming from the hose. The girl knew how to have fun.
And this is how I will always remember my beautiful sweet Rosie
Dear Carrie - I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Rosie once at one of your classes and she was the sweetest girl - she so enjoyed all the people there. Hugs to you.

Oh Carrie - I'm so sorry to hear about Rosie. I'm allergic to dogs, but I love them, so I always enjoy it when bloggers show photos about their furry friends and tell stories about them. Ms. Rosie was such a gentle, sweet girl. Sending you warm thoughts.

Oh. Carrie. I cannot express how deeply sorry I am about your loss. I wanted to tell you that I'm at work but holding on to tears because even though i never met her she was such a part of all of us. You shared her with all of us and I am grateful. Thank you. My heart and prayers will be with you during this truly sad time.

Wow--I'm just stunned at this news. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss -- well, in a tiny way, all of our loss as well -- as we all loved Rosie and loved hearing about her. But since she was your dear companion, I send my condolences and certainly lots of hugs for you. Take care--

I'm so sorry to read this post and I'm welling up at the thought that dear, sweet Rosie isn't sitting watching you eat and waiting for you to share your food/give her a treat. I can't really bear to think about how you must be feeling but I know you must be devastated. And lost. And wondering when/if you'll get used to the silence in the house. I'm thinking of you at this sad time and sending you hugs; you should be getting one round about.......now ((hug)). Take care, and be kind to yourself xx

Carrie, I am so very sorry to read this. A few years ago we lost our Holly and it was just as devastating as what I imagine you are going through. Time will help and, someday, maybe a warm hug from a little puppy who will steal your heart all over again. I have absolutely no doubt that dogs go to heaven. Hugs, Cathy and Schnibbles
